FASHION

March brought out all the Spring trends for 2022 – one of them being DOPAMINE DRESSING. Personally, I love the idea of colour for Spring and Summer – either in a top, a handbag, shoes or accessories.

And speaking of handbags… if you are a handbag lover like me, hop on over to my post: ULTIMATE SPRING AND SUMMER HANDBAG EDIT. I talk about the 5 handbag styles you need for SS 2022- all under 500$. The edit includes one of my favourite Spring and Summer bags- The Coach Tabby, which I’ve worn non-stop since mid-March. It’s available in lots of fun colours, too!

We slowly transitioned from boots to shoes… finally! These LORAINE LOAFERS are the perfect complement to pants and jeans and a good dupe to the Gucci ones. But if you want to follow the platform trend, then go for the LAURS LOAFERS or the DEANA. Both come in black and neutrals.

And last but not least, is my H&M Cardigan which was on heavy rotation the whole month – and still is! A super versatile closet staple that can be worn in Fall, Winter and Spring. Similar HERE and HERE.

LIFESTYLE / DECOR FAVOURITES

March is the month I do a thorough cleaning and change the decor around my house. The following are new little additions that I think you will love.

FACIAL TISSUE ACRYLIC DISPENSER BOX– because printed cardboard boxes detract from your decor

STORI STACKABLE ACRYLIC DRAWERS – perfect for under the sink storage in the kitchen or the bathroom

PREMIA KITCHEN DISH TOWELS– I love getting new kitchen linens every season. These beautiful, classic tea towels are such a good buy! They come in a set of 6 and are white with a blue stripe. They are commercial grade- which means they are ultra absorbent and low lint.

March was also the month where we shopped for new flooring for our main living area. Steve demolished the existing tile and hardwood in our century old townhouse and applied a new subfloor. We chose PURPARKET FLOORING– a relatively new company, that offers gorgeous European white oak engineered wood floors. Stay tuned for a full blog post and photos with before and afters! Can’t wait to show you!

WELLNESS

I am always striving to live a happy, healthy and balanced life. And although sleep, exercise and nutrition play a key role, emotional and mental health is also very important. I look for books, podcasts and articles that not only educate but also inspire and motivate me.

HOW TO DO YOU by Jacqueline Hurst is a great read. A practical guide on how to make fundamental changes in your life – ones that will provide a solid foundation for the future.

HERE’S HOW TO RETHINK BOREDOM – a thought provoking article by Emily Torres.

I take supplements daily- one of them is magnesium. I have been taking it for more than a year and I can seriously feel a difference. Check out the following article: TOP 7 BENEFITS OF MAGNESIUM – a short read but super informative. You will be a convert, too!

BEAUTY FAVOURITES

If you have been following me for a while, you know of my love for good skincare. Hydration, radiance and sun protection are my main concerns. So, here are March’s most-loved products – those that worked wonders on my 52 year old skin and hair. You must give them a try and let me know what you think!

My fave MOISTURIZER has been reformulated! New and improved Neovadiol for women in peri & post menopause is made specifically for skin going through hormonal changes. If you are over 40, you must try this line! Thank me later!

Started using a new serum: ULTIMUNE by SHISEIDO and so far, so good! My skin is liking it very much. Plus, it works well with my fave moisturizer.

If you want to plump your skin and soften lines, then you will love the VICHY LIFTACTIV SUPREME H.A SERUM. Bonus: it’s for the face and eyes!

My favourite cleansing balm for the days I wear make-up: ELEMIS PRO COLLAGEN CLEANSING BALM

If you are losing hair or have a sensitive scalp, then this hair BRUSH is a must.

So there you have it, my go-to, March favourites. I hope you try them out!
