Cargo jeans, just like the denim midi skirt, are making quite the comeback this year. You will find them in many types of fabrics and colours. And pretty much every fashion retailer has them on their racks.
But good, comfortable and stylish jeans are sometimes difficult to find. Shopping for them can be quite frustrating and overwhelming given the number of styles, colours and prices.
On a recent trip to the mall, I visited the Dynamite store where I tried on the HEIDI wide-leg cargo jeans. I felt so good in them that I immediately bought them. I don’t think I have ever made a decision about jeans that quickly!
I felt such a relief and at the same time excitement because I finally found a pair that fit well, felt good and gave a trendy yet classic vibe. And at a very decent price, too!

WHY I AM OBSESSED WITH THESE CARGO JEANS
The HEIDI denim cargos jeans are not only pretty comfortable, but also quite stylish. The wide-leg design and pocket styling are very well executed.
Since they have no flaps, the pockets are quite discreet and do not bulge- a plus when you are midsize and trying to find a style that is trendy, comfortable and slims you down in the right places.
Another plus is the length of the jean which elongates your leg rather nicely. You can pair these cargo jeans with loafers for the perfect casual Fridays at work or with either pointy heels or strappy sandals for a dressier vibe.
Another great advantage when it comes to the fit is that they are baggy but tight in the right areas.
WHAT TO KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR
The HEIDI runs big, so I would try one size down. They are also long in the length but can be easily shortened. I wear mine with platform sneakers as well as chunky loafers and it works for me. When I wear them with heels, they are the perfect length. If I wear them with regular flats, the hem will be too long and I am afraid it will get dirty, damaged and frayed.
The HEIDI has a very unique colour which I love, but if you prefer to go darker, DYNAMITE carries another version of the HEIDI in a MEDIUM DARK WASH, just note that the side pockets have flaps.
