THE REVIEW
My hands always seem to suffer greatly during the winter months. Between the constant washing of hands, our cold harsh Canadian temperatures, and now post menopause, my hands look and feel dry, crepey and in dire need of constant TLC. So keeping up with the latest products and skincare routines is a must.
I do have a few favorite hand creams that I rotate through the year and keep throughout my home, my handbag and my car. But lately, I’ve discovered and been obsessed with PAUME.
I had the opportunity to visit one of PAUME’s stockists, HOME SMITH, in Toronto. I tested the products and fell in love with the consistency, the scent and the way my hands immediately felt upon application. The formulas are fast absorbing, non-greasy and quenched my parched skin immediately.

The Renewing Hand Serum, one of my favourite products, is a high performance formula that contains active ingredients such as Bakuchiol, Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C, much like the face serums we use. These ingredients target skin tone, hyperpigmentation, improve elasticity and texture. Apply the serum as a base layer, then follow with either the Probiotic Hand Balm or the Overnight Hand and Foot Mask.

The Overnight Hand and Foot Mask is formulated for those who suffer from dry cracked skin or suffer chronic irritation. The formula uses shea butter, glycerin, panthenol and squalane to lock in moisture and deeply hydrate your skin. It is unscented and essential-oil free. I apply this hydration mask right after the serum and wear gloves (and socks on my feet) at night to ensure maximum absorption. The morning after you wake up with super soft and soothed skin.
