March 8th ~ INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
Today, we celebrate women’s cultural, political and socio-economic successes. But it is also a day to push forward and break the bias of gender inequality, stereotypes and discrimination. Sadly, there are women who are still marginalized and underrepresented: Indigenous women, silenced women and black women.
We have a long way to go, but there are so many things we can do individually and as a collective that can make a difference.
CREATE CHANGE
It is no longer acceptable to remain silent. Let’s create change. Let us be heard. Every small action counts!
☑️ Celebrate women’s achievements
☑️ Raise awareness against bias
☑️ Take action for gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow
Together, WE encourage, WE support and WE speak out!
Who inspires you? Do you know any women who are fighting for change? Let us know in the comments below or hop on over to my post on INSTAGRAM and add to our conversation.
