I am a big believer that the chicest autumn outfits are all about stylishly layered clothing items. And as much as I love my chunky sweaters and cardigans, I have been truly enamoured with the latest Fall fashion trend for 2020 – the knit sweater vest.
This H&M oversized knit sweater vest is the coziest and coolest to layer creating a basic but perfect daily fall outfit. I love to wear it over a button down white blouse and pair it with straight jeans or leggings. Depending on the weather you can switch to faux leather leggings, add a stylish coat or trench and… voila!
For a timeless style and less of a “grandpa” vibe, I suggest a sweater vest with a crew neck rather than the usual V-neck. If you lean towards an edgier style or love the “street-style” look wear the vest over a boxy tee and pair it with loose trousers and either chunky white sneakers or flat boots.
The best thing is that an item like this- in a neutral color- can be styled in a myriad of ways and will definitely be a good piece to add to your Fall and Winter wardrobe.
