Fall has settled in quite nicely here in Toronto. There is a crispness in the air, leaves are changing color at a fast speed and the autumn foliage is quite magnificent at this time of the year.
ALL THE FALL FEELS
Fashion imitates Fall with its shades of burgundy, rust, amber and maroon. Thicker and luxurious textures are coming out, too. I love seeing all the beautiful velvets, soft suedes, classic tweeds and the ever so popular plaid.
Even though I was born in Spring, I am a true Fall baby at heart.
Inspired by Autumn, I couldn’t help myself and bought this beautiful dress. It is a super soft and stretchy, diagonal plaid A-Line dress. I paired it with a corduroy burgundy blazer, a black belt, sexy knee high boots and my favourite velvet handbag. Instead of the blazer, you can also style it with a leather jacket, a poncho, a cape or a long cardigan. If you live in warmer climates, opt for a pair of stylish, pointy pump or flats.
