Summer is finally in full bloom here in Ontario and with it comes all my excitement to store away my winter bags and bring out my beloved summer ones.
Those who know me personally will tell you that I am a bag lover and collector… – big and small, neutral or colorful, luxury or High Street… if they are well designed and fit my lifestyle then they are worth acquiring and definitely worth mentioning!
So, let me introduce you to my summer favorite: the perfectly sized and super well priced straw tote bag. Sadly, mine is sold out for the moment, so I am linking this beautiful FRENCH MARKET BASKET that is equally gorgeous!
With its woven straw body and sturdy handles this little gem can definitely hold all your needs… and then some! I love it because it’s roomy but not bulky – ideal for the beach, shopping at the outdoor market or to bring to a picnic.
As a fashion accessory, this straw tote bag is quite versatile. You can dress it up with pom pom tassels or a nice, colourful scarf. Or leave it plain if you prefer a more minimalistic look. I found this handmade tote and the tassels at Home Smith – my favorite home interiors store on Yonge Street.
